How It Works
Understanding Your Results
CBM (Cubic Metre)
Length × Width × Height in metres, multiplied by the number of cartons. Used to price LCL sea freight and plan containers.
Chargeable Weight (Air)
Airlines charge the higher of gross weight and volumetric weight (L × W × H in cm ÷ 6000).
Container Fit
Based on typical usable volume: 20' ≈ 28 CBM, 40' ≈ 58 CBM, 40' HC ≈ 68 CBM. Actual loading depends on carton sizes and stacking.
Results are estimates for planning only. Final volumes and charges are confirmed by the carrier at origin.
